Abstract

Using finite elements method a numerically pull out test is reproduced that usually is performed in composite slabs with steel deck to estimate slip resistance due to longitudinal shear forces between steel deck and concrete block surfaces. Has been assumed an elastic- plastic model to represent steel behavior, and a plastic damage model for concrete. Bases have been establish to perform a parametric study of the problem, an to develop analytic method to calculate longitudinal shear.
